LIFELINE ASSISTANCE

Do You Need Help Paying for Phone or Internet Service?

You may be eligible for a discount on the cost of your monthly telephone or Internet service if you, or someone in your household, participates in any of the programs listed below:

Medicaid
Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program (SNAP), formerly known as Food Stamps
Supplemental Security Income (SSI)
Section 8 Public Housing Assistance (FPHA)
Veterans and Survivors Pension Benefit

-OR- If your household income is at or below 135% of the Federal Poverty Level.

Eligible subscribers will receive a credit up to $9.25 per month toward the cost of phone or Internet service. Lifeline assistance is limited to one credit per household and available only on one serivce, whether landline or wireless. Proof of eligibility is required.
