Jr. Chafin in Florida, October 20, 1901.

 He married Caroline Ellen Doran in Doran, Alabama, Baldwin, December 25, 1902.  Caroline was born in Perdido, Alabama, Baldwin July 1, 1883.  Caroline was the daughter of William Henry  Doran and Sarah Harris  Weekley.  Caroline died June 6, 1962 in Barlow, Alabama, Washington, at 78 years of age.  Her body was interred in Rabun, Alabama, Baldwin.  At 20 years of age Caroline became the mother of Nora Ellen Chafin December 9, 1903.  At 21 years of age Caroline became the mother of Charlie Henry Chafin in Perdido, Alabama, Baldwin, January 24, 1905.  At 24 years of age Caroline became the mother of Sarah Evelyn Chafin March 2, 1908.  At 26 years of age Caroline became the mother of Moses Louis Jr. Chafin December 10, 1909.  At 28 years of age Caroline became the mother of Robert Mark Chafin February 8, 1912.  At 30 years of age Caroline became the mother of Marion Rayford Chafin March 29, 1914.  At 33 years of age Caroline became the mother of James Horace Chafin August 27, 1916.  At 35 years of age Caroline became the mother of Woodrow Wilson Chafin August 10, 1918.

 At 28 years of age Moses became the father of Paul Byran Chafin in Jax., Flordia, February 14, 1930.  At 31 years of age Moses became the father of Moses B. Iii Chafin in Jax., Florida, August 20, 1933.  At 37 years of age Moses became the father of Leslie Yvonne Chafin April 26, 1939.
