Chafin Ancestors

Moses Louis Chafin (my gr.gr.grandfather).

Born in VA. in 1800 and died in GA. in 1886, married Margaret D. Lacey on January 14, 1841 and they had six
children: Sara F., William F., Charley A., Jane D., Mark A. and Martha S.

Charley Anquis Chafin (my gr.grandfather).

        Born May 26, 1848 and died August 05, 1905 and is buried at Cypress Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Kinard
        Fl. He married Sarah Ann (Griffin), the daughter of Lewis M. Griffin and Nancey (Hendley), on Febuary 20, 1879
        and they had ten children: Milton, Charlie, William Thomas, Marcus H., Madge, Elizabeth, Sarah Ann, Jennie, Ethel
        and Moses Louis.

Moses Louis Chafin (my grandfather).

        Born December 28, 1879 and died April 22, 1964 and is buried at Guy's Chapel Cemetery in Rabun, Al. (about 12miles
        North of Bay Minette, Al. He married Caroline Ellen (Doran), the daughter of William Henry Doran and Sarah Harris
        (Weekley), on December 25, 1902 and they had eight children: Nora Ellen, Charlie Henry, Sarah Evelyn, Moses Louis,
        Robert Mark, Marion Rayford, James Horace and Woodrow Wilson.

Charlie Henry Chafin (my father).

        Born January 24, 1905 and died June 21, 1991 and is buried at Reynolds Church Cemetery about 5 miles North of
        Chatom, Al. He married Agnes Mae (Cooper), the daughter of Warren Mansford Cooper and Alabama (Brown), on
        September 05, 1925 and they had seven children: Girl, Gladys Evelyn, Charles Gladyn, Ellen Alene, Norman Rayford,
        Ella Jane and Warren Eugene.
